Here are the stats from our local hospital – Airedale.
I think these are really encouraging. The assisted births compared to vaginal births are at about 45% to 55% respectively. This is a good indicator of how women and birthing people are supported in their decision making around their birth experience at Airedale. 👍💪
The VBAC number this month is fantastic! That’s the highest I have ever seen it. A VBAC is a vaginal birth after caesarean. This again demonstrates choice and support for personal choice which I’m all here for 🙌🫶
So a great month, thank you to all the midwives, doctors and support staff who help our local parents to be. 💞
