Pregnancy Relaxation Classes

Take a moment to pause, breathe, and connect with your baby.

My pregnancy relaxation classes are a gentle, supportive space where you can step away from the busyness of everyday life and focus on your wellbeing. Each session is designed to help you feel calmer, more confident, and more connected to your body and your baby as you prepare for labour and birth.

What to Expect

Each class includes a blend of relaxation, learning, and connection:

Guided relaxation and meditation
Be gently guided into a deep state of relaxation to release tension, calm your mind, and create a peaceful space to connect with your baby.

Breathwork for pregnancy and birth
Learn simple breathing techniques that can help you feel more centred during pregnancy and support you during labour.

Positive affirmations
Build confidence and trust in your body with carefully chosen affirmations designed to encourage a positive mindset around birth.

A weekly birth topic
Each session includes a short, friendly discussion around a different birth-related topic, helping you feel informed, prepared, and empowered.

Time to connect
We finish each class with a cuppa and a biscuit (or two), giving you time to chat, share experiences, and build friendships with other expectant parents.

Who the classes are for

These classes are suitable for anyone who is pregnant and looking for a calm, nurturing space to relax and prepare for birth. No previous experience with meditation or relaxation is needed.

Whether this is your first baby or youโ€™ve done it before, you are very welcome.

This isn’t a yoga class and doesn’t involve any movement – we’re all about the chill.

Pregnancy can be an exciting time, but it can also feel overwhelming. These sessions are an opportunity to slow down, take care of yourself, and leave feeling lighter, calmer, and more confident.

Things to note

Sessions can be done in any position that’s most comfortable for you, I will support you with cushions and beanbags to help you get comfortable. Please feel free to move around during the session too.

Mats, bolsters, blankets and beanbags are provided but PLEASE BRING your own blanket and pillow to make yourself extra comfy.

We start promptly so please arrive 5 minutes early to get yourself cosy (but no earlier if possible as I am setting up). Late arrivals interrupt the session for others.

Parking is available behind High Corn Mill. There is also on-street parking directly outside the mill.

The studio is Balanced Life Physiotherapy.

Please note that this venue has stairs.
