When should you start hypnobirthing?

Great question – and one I get asked all the time!

The honest answer?

It’s never too early to start hypnobirthing… and it’s never too late (well, obviously, it can get too late!).

I advise most people to start hypnobirthing around 25–32 weeks, which gives you time to learn the tools, practise regularly, and really build that calm, confident mindset before birth. It’s also a great time to start thinking about your birth preferences and creating a way forward that feels right for you.

But if you’re further along – don’t worry. I’ve had parents join my hypnobirthing courses later in pregnancy (even 35 weeks!) and still find it incredibly helpful. 🥰

Hypnobirthing isn’t just about months of prep – it’s about learning how to feel more in control, release fear, and work with your body and mind… and that can make a huge difference, no matter when you start.

So, if you’re thinking about it – trust that nudge. Whether you’re 14 weeks or 38 weeks, hypnobirthing can support your birth, your way.
